Revelation

Revelation is a band which plays classic rock music from the late 1950s through to the 1980s. The band started playing in St Cedd's Church, Stifford Clays, Essex and accompanying the monthly family service there. To entertain the congregation after the services, we started to play a number of classic rock instrumentals, including Apache and FBI by The Shadows and Sylvia by Focus.

The band started to play a wider selection of rock music at the annual summer Church Fete and performed two charity concerts in 2007 and 2008. In the summer of 2010, Revelation started to perform at a number of local fetes and fayres, including the North Stifford Fete, the Horndon Feast and Fayre and the Stanford Festival and appearances at these events has continued into 2011 and 2012.

Current members of Revelation are Andy Sentance (bass/vocals), Anne Sentance (keyboard/vocals), Mick Holland (guitar) and Peter Stephens (drums). Andrew Ingram - a friend from Cambridge University days - joined us as a guest guitarist on 25th/26th June 2011 while Mick was on holiday (see picture below).

Former members include Jon Knights (keyboard), Tim Sentance (sax) and Rebecca Sentance (vocals)
